The first week of 2012 has come and gone, and for me, it's been a good one.
Monday, I went back to school, and I was really looking forward
to seeing all of my friends and hearing about their holiday.
We didn't get our big History papers back
(our teacher tells us that we're getting them some time the upcoming week),
but all in all, it was a good start on the week.
I've also exchanged some Christmas presents during the week.
A Harry Potter Part 2 dvd was exchanged to a Part 1,
and a gift set of lotions and shampoo were exchanged for a gift certificate.
Further more I've also bought my first epilator this week.
I've been wanting one for years now, but haven't
come around to actually buying one - until Monday.
Everybody says it's very painful, but I don't think so.
Well, yes, you do feel it, but I was expecting something so much worse :)
Anyway, event though it takes a long time,
I like the result a lot, and I'm very glad I bought it.
I wore one of my current favorite 60s inspired outfits,
and in school me and 'the group' had so much fun, and I'm having
quite a hard time imagining next year without all of them.
Thursday, after Social Studies, me and Marie took
a stroll around town and looked at the sales.
I bought a couple of things, nothing super fancy
- but still, nice to save some money :)
Last night I found a very cool blog, that revolves solely around the fashion of the Swinging 60s
- a period of time, which I'm currently obsessed with!
If you, as I, have a love for the 60s, then you should really check it out.
It's called 'Lost in the 60's' and you can find it here.
Otherwise this weekend hasn't offered me any great adventures.
I've been watching a lot of Buffy The Vampire Slayer,
I've cleaned the apartment, and then I've worked out a lot.
Nothing special, but it's still nice to have a nice and relaxing weekend :)
How did this week turn out for you?
Den hedder 'Lost in the 60s' og kan findes her.
I just finished watching all the Buffy seasons. Now moved on to The Secret life of the American Teenager which basically is "Horton Sagaen" for teens. But it's addictive! Hope you have a great sunday :) P.S. - love the new hair!
ReplyDeleteHey MDB :)
ReplyDeleteAh, I love Buffy - I'm almost done with season 5. But I hate that season, it's so depressing + Dawn is introduced (can't stand her) haha.
I think I've heard of that show - I might give it a watch if it's 'DOOL' like - I was addicted to that show when I was a teen, haha.
And thanks, that really means a lot to me :) Have a great Sunday too, and thanks for your comment :)
