When I was on holiday in Sweden, my mum and I went out shopping one day.
I found this cup ((or maybe it's more of a mug?)) in a store, and I just couldn't resist buying it.
I drink a lotta coffee, and I always find that mugs//cups are too small for my coffee needs.
This cup is just the perfect size for me - huge, and room for half a liter of coffee!
So this is now my new favourite cup for any hot liquid.
How do you enjoy your coffee or tea?

Four things right now
This happy hot air balloon just appeared out of nothing
I bought some new plates today, and I'm still admiring them
A good cuppa joe is perfect any time of the day
I've lined my latest purchases up as decorative accessories in the apartment.
Can't wait to put a little colour in my style!

What I've been buying lately
Hello on such a grey and cold Saturday.
Well, it's March 1st and Spring was supposed to arrive today, but instead it's grey, cold and rainy out. It's okay though; I'm having a "me" day today. Last night I was at the annual Galla at my school, which was tremendously fun. It's so great to see friends in their smartest tuxes and dresses, and the vibe was fantastic. I've screamed my voice away though; I sat right next to the dance floor where the music was quite loud, and since I don't dance I was having fun catching up with old friends. Such a fun evening, but today I'm absolutely tired, so as said before today is just a nice "me" day. Coffee, TV shows and greasy pizza just makes for such a lovely Saturday.
But well, that wasn't actually what this post was supposed to be about.
I wanted to show you the things I've been buying over the last couple of months.
I'm always looking for that perfect bag, and I think I can honestly say I've found it now.
The big, slouchy one is from ModCloth. It was a little expensive, and since it's from the States I was unlucky and had it going through customs, making it even more expensive. However, I do really really really love it! It has a gazillion small and big pockets, lots of room for books and binders for school and a two-way option for carrying it around: A strap and handles, so I can mix it up or make it easier for myself when I'm carrying heavier things. You can find the bag here - it certainly has my stamp of approval!
I've already mentioned the clutch a couple of posts ago - actually I only bought it because it matched the ModCloth one, and because I needed a smaller bag I could carry around during the breaks at school. However, I've really grown fond of this little pretty thing, plus it's very handy. I've never been that in to clutches, but this one has won me over! It's big enough for all the essentials, but not so big that it's un-handy to carry around. I bought it at ASOS, and you can find it here.
And finally the cute ballerinas. I actually just got them in the mail an hour ago. I bought the last pair in my size, and the next day the price was reduces very heavily. A little sucky unlucky, but what can you do? They fit great, and they'll be absolutely perfect for the long awaited Spring we're supposed to have coming our way. They fit fantastic and I do so-so-so love the gold snouts. Also bought at ASOS, and you can find them here - although hurry, they're selling like hotcakes!
So that's a little of what I've been buying lately. I don't quite know what's up with the pink; it's never really been a colour I've preferred. But I'm just so-so-so happy to have a little colour back into my wardrobe, and come on... it is adorable!
Have a lovely Saturday - remember to spend the day humming happy tunes and smiling uncontrollably ♡

What's in my bag?
Hello all!
Well, I'm once again back in my beloved apartment 107, and oh what a difference a week does!
Not only has it been absolutely wonderful with a little vacation time,
but I now find myself full of energy and ready for new adventures.
Another wonderful thing is the weather. It finally looks like Spring is here to stay; small flowers are growing,
the weather is warmer and most important of all: The sun is shining like crazy! Ah, how sweet life is ☼
Oh well, I'm rambling on.
Inspired my my great mood, I thought I'd do a little something else today.
I always like when other bloggers do a "what's in my bag" post,
and since I've given myself the present of a new every-day clutch, I thought: Why not show it off a little?
I won't deny, I like getting fun facts about the bloggers I follow, so now here's your chance to have a a peek at my private things. Of course, these are the things I always carry around - I've chosen to remove all of my old receipts, candy wrappers and other not-so-lovely things I carry around.
Well, let's just have a little looksie, shall we?

Well, let's just have a little looksie, shall we?
I always have both my glasses and my sunglasses on me.
I use sunnies every day, all year 'round - rain, shine or snow.
And as for my glasses, well, I need them to read, so they're essential as well.
Then I have a few hairbands with me,
and of course my trusted organic lip balm and my nude lipstick from the Kate Moss range from Rimmel.
Unfortunately I'm a smoker and have been so for years. Disgusting habit, I know, but hard to get rid of.
But just because cigarettes aren't the best, doesn't mean you can't keep 'em together in a nice case.
And of course my Zippo, which I got almost 8 years ago.
Mints, of course, are important - these are in a funny metal case from the Swedish shop Lagerhaus.
Hand sanitiser is very important to me, as I am a bit of a germaphobe.
And then of course, I always always always have my headphones and my small cat-ears wallet on me.
And then, of course, there's the glue that holds it all together: The bag! This little cutie is from Asos, and you can find it here.

In this case, I love the case
Hello and happy Tuesday to you all!
Tuesday is a lovely day - mainly cause it's my day off.
Today, however, I have even more reason to smile. I just god a parcel in the mail,
and in it was my two new cases for my iPhone and iPad mini.
I actually ordered them a couple of weeks back, but since they were shipped from Thailand, it took a little while.
However, they are totally worth the wait! It's no secret that I do love black and white stripes - they're everywhere in apartment 107. And since it was time for new cases anyway, I thought I'd match them up with my home interior. And oh how lovely they look!
Well, that's all from me today.
Have the happiest of days - and remember to smile and be happy ♡

If you're interested in getting a new case too, I suggest to stop by rabbitsmile's Etsy page - that's where I've ordered all of my cases.

A lovely evening in Apartment 107
Hello and goodevening to you all.
Well, I've have had a very productive day today. Despite going to bed way too late and getting up at noon today, I've managed to get a lot of things done - which is always lovely.
I'm on my Christmas break right now, and already I'm feeling a bit restless. So today, after getting up and having several cups of coffee, I decided not to waste the day away and started to clean the whole apartment. Yes, I've been in every corner, nook and cranny and the place is just spotless now - and that is just oh so lovely!
Then I wrapped some Christmas presents for my folks whilst listening to old crooners singing Christmas tunes, and then, still feeling restless, I started painting some wooden bookcases black, so that they match the rest of the place.
And then suddenly, day turned into evening, and I'm finally kickin' back with a big cuppa tea
- in my new cup I got from IKEA a couple of days ago (and by the way, the striped knitted blanket is also an IKEA purchase) -
and back-to-back episodes of Sex & The City.
My couch corner really is the place where I spend most of my time when I'm home. It's oh so cozy, and with the subtle light from the chain of lights and candles, it's next to impossible not to feel happy and relaxed.
But well yes, that's it from me tonight.
I hope all of you have had a nice Monday, and that you're feeling just as happy and relaxed as me.
Have the happiest of December evenings ♡

Terrific Tuesday
Today is my day off, and right now I should be hard at work on an essay for my Danish class. In stead, I'm relaxing on the couch with a cuppa cappuccino, which I'm drinking from my new Normann Copenhagen cup.
A couple of weeks back I bought some Normann Copenhagen cups from Bahne (a Danish home decor store), which I have been using as plant pots for my small Succulents. I didn't quite have enough though, so a couple of hours ago, I found myself back in home decor heaven. I ended up buying 4 more cups, but I also "accidentally" bought some new silver candlesticks.
Looks lovely, right? Here's how they look in my apartment:
I had one cup left, so now that one is officially my new cappuccino cup.
Have an absolutely fantastic Tuesday evening, I'll see you tomorrow ♡

Home at home
Hej hej Thursday!
About 2 weeks ago, I got this new piece of furniture from IKEA.
I love love love IKEA; there's always something new you want, something new to find and something new to get inspired by.
Back in November I got a shelving unit just like the one above, and I've been loving it so much, that I wanted to get another one for the other wall in my flat. It really wasn't expensive - actually the thing that cost the most was the wheels.
Well anyway, I got this new shelving unit 2 weeks ago, right before I was going to Sweden. So I assembled it the day before I was going on holiday, and just never got around to showing it to you.
Well, here it is! It's so lovely and practical, and I love the way I've "styled it" - I can't get enough of plants, and I really like that there's room for so many - and yet, it doesn't look crowded.
Have an absolutely lovely day ❤

Pillow Talk
Lately I've gotten into buying pillows. It started last year where I bought two, and from then the whole thing just expanded. Last Friday I was at the dentist, and it didn't go as well as I had hoped, so after, I decided to treat myself to a little something. I bought two more, and with the two from last year plus the two new I got over Easter, I suddenly find my sofa full of pillows haha. But I really think it looks great, and pillows are just one of the things that makes a house a home ❤

I'd Rather Be Thrifting
Last Saturday, when I was vacationing in Sweden with my folks, we drove to Växjö so I could take a look in the local thrift stores. I really like shopping, but I love thrifting! And of course I didn't come home empty handed - actually quite the opposite. My poor dad's creditcard suffered that day, haha.
Anyway, I found a lot of fantastic treasures that I didn't know I needed, but now can't imagine living without (insert winking smiley here!) Take a look at the super cool, super kitch and super retro things I found...
... Like these ultra retro coffee cups. They looked all sad, sitting on the shelve by themselves, but I used them this morning drinking coffee with Maria, and they really look super cute on a well set table.
I also found this cute crochet tablecloth. No doubt some nice old Swedish lady made this in her day, but now it looks nice on my little table.
When I saw these cups I immediately knew I wanted to use them in a little DIY project. Well, I did, and you can find the post here.
Right now, this kitchy vase is the prude and joy of my home! I know not everybody would go and buy something that kitch, but that's exactly what I fell in love with. This vase might just be one of the very best thriftstore purchases I've ever made!
And then finally I bought these lovely pair of porcelain figurine dogs. My mum told me the story behind figurines such as these; apparently in the olden days, wives of sailors would recieve a pair of dog figurines that their husbands had brought home with them from the orient. When the sailors were out at sea, their wives back home would place the dogs in the window facing outward, so that they were looking after the seafaring husbands, and inward when the husbands were home. As a plus, this trick apparently also served as quite the communication system, if the wives had lovers visiting often ;)
