Hi all, how are you doing on such a rainy day?
A week ago, I told you through the Facebook page, that I was planning a post about a mirror
I found down by my buildings dumpsters. Well, now it's time for that post!
There's a Danish term called "Klunse" or (( to be a )) "Klunser" - there's no direct translation, but basically what it means is that you find other peoples thrown-out items in thrift stores or even down by the dumpsters. Actually, if you're a good "klunser" and have your eyes open, you can find little treasures everywhere.
I'm lucky to live in an apartment complex where a lot of the older people living here throw out their stuff - quite often actually.
Don't get me wrong; it's not like I'm crawling into the trashcans (( haha )). But once in a while, when I'm down by the dumpsters, there are these little treasures that someone didn't want, but can be of use to me.
Such a thing happened to me last week, when I found this awesome mirror. Someone had just left it so the garbagemen could take it with them, but I was quick and snatched it up before they - or someone else - could.
I didn't know where to put it right away, so I just placed it up against my living room window.
But actually, I've come to really appreciate it there, so now I've "accessorised" it with a couple of candles and herbs (( which needed sun anyway, so it was a win win )).
Just in case I didn't explain it too well, here's the definition (( and a rare selfie )) on the concept of "klunseri" :
Have a lovely and wonderful day

What I've been buying lately
Hello on such a grey and cold Saturday.
Well, it's March 1st and Spring was supposed to arrive today, but instead it's grey, cold and rainy out. It's okay though; I'm having a "me" day today. Last night I was at the annual Galla at my school, which was tremendously fun. It's so great to see friends in their smartest tuxes and dresses, and the vibe was fantastic. I've screamed my voice away though; I sat right next to the dance floor where the music was quite loud, and since I don't dance I was having fun catching up with old friends. Such a fun evening, but today I'm absolutely tired, so as said before today is just a nice "me" day. Coffee, TV shows and greasy pizza just makes for such a lovely Saturday.
But well, that wasn't actually what this post was supposed to be about.
I wanted to show you the things I've been buying over the last couple of months.
I'm always looking for that perfect bag, and I think I can honestly say I've found it now.
The big, slouchy one is from ModCloth. It was a little expensive, and since it's from the States I was unlucky and had it going through customs, making it even more expensive. However, I do really really really love it! It has a gazillion small and big pockets, lots of room for books and binders for school and a two-way option for carrying it around: A strap and handles, so I can mix it up or make it easier for myself when I'm carrying heavier things. You can find the bag here - it certainly has my stamp of approval!
I've already mentioned the clutch a couple of posts ago - actually I only bought it because it matched the ModCloth one, and because I needed a smaller bag I could carry around during the breaks at school. However, I've really grown fond of this little pretty thing, plus it's very handy. I've never been that in to clutches, but this one has won me over! It's big enough for all the essentials, but not so big that it's un-handy to carry around. I bought it at ASOS, and you can find it here.
And finally the cute ballerinas. I actually just got them in the mail an hour ago. I bought the last pair in my size, and the next day the price was reduces very heavily. A little sucky unlucky, but what can you do? They fit great, and they'll be absolutely perfect for the long awaited Spring we're supposed to have coming our way. They fit fantastic and I do so-so-so love the gold snouts. Also bought at ASOS, and you can find them here - although hurry, they're selling like hotcakes!
So that's a little of what I've been buying lately. I don't quite know what's up with the pink; it's never really been a colour I've preferred. But I'm just so-so-so happy to have a little colour back into my wardrobe, and come on... it is adorable!
Have a lovely Saturday - remember to spend the day humming happy tunes and smiling uncontrollably ♡

In this case, I love the case
Hello and happy Tuesday to you all!
Tuesday is a lovely day - mainly cause it's my day off.
Today, however, I have even more reason to smile. I just god a parcel in the mail,
and in it was my two new cases for my iPhone and iPad mini.
I actually ordered them a couple of weeks back, but since they were shipped from Thailand, it took a little while.
However, they are totally worth the wait! It's no secret that I do love black and white stripes - they're everywhere in apartment 107. And since it was time for new cases anyway, I thought I'd match them up with my home interior. And oh how lovely they look!
Well, that's all from me today.
Have the happiest of days - and remember to smile and be happy ♡

Lucky find
This weekend I did a little Spring cleaning - not as in washing the windows, dusting the shelves and so on... I do that pretty often actually. But no, it was that time of year to clean out all of the junk I have stacked away in the corners, on the shelves and in the kitchen. I managed okay, and I actually also did a little re-arranging of some of my furniture - which I'll show you tomorrow.
Anyway, I hate to say it, but I actually had more junk than I thought, so I had to make a fair few trips down to the dumpsters. But when a door closes, a window opens, as they say. I'd like to change that to: Throw something out, gain something new!
As I threw out bag of crap number 3, I had to go around the dumpsters, and oooooooooh! Lookie look what I found! This picture is the coolest, most kitsch, most adorable thing I've ever seen - and it was just sitting there, ready to be picked up and thrown out. But no sir! I took it, before anybody else could snatch it up, and now... well, now it's mine!
I'll treasure it forever ♡

New in - CookCase iPad mini and iPhone cases
Back in February, my dear mum and dad bought me an iPad mini - and I'd recently bought an iPhone back in December. And then, a whole new addiction started; collecting cases!
When I got my iPad mini I wanted a classic case, so I went on Etsy to try to find something to my liking. There I stumbled upon CookCases, where I fell in love with almost every case in the shop. However I decided on a simple floral one, and bought a matching case for my iPhone too.
Unfortunately a lot of things happened; the first case I received was the wrong one, but the absolutely fantastic Kook Kai, the owner of the store, send me another one right away. That one had been broken in half during it's trip from Thailand to Denmark, but once again Kook Kai showed herself as a perfect seller and sent me yet another one! And luckily, that one was just perfect!
Now this is not a sponsored post or anything, but I was so impressed with both the service and the quality of the cases, that I thought I'd show them to you. So if you've got an iPhone or iPad - or both - then take a look at the Etsy shop here!

I'd Rather Be Thrifting
Last Saturday, when I was vacationing in Sweden with my folks, we drove to Växjö so I could take a look in the local thrift stores. I really like shopping, but I love thrifting! And of course I didn't come home empty handed - actually quite the opposite. My poor dad's creditcard suffered that day, haha.
Anyway, I found a lot of fantastic treasures that I didn't know I needed, but now can't imagine living without (insert winking smiley here!) Take a look at the super cool, super kitch and super retro things I found...
... Like these ultra retro coffee cups. They looked all sad, sitting on the shelve by themselves, but I used them this morning drinking coffee with Maria, and they really look super cute on a well set table.
I also found this cute crochet tablecloth. No doubt some nice old Swedish lady made this in her day, but now it looks nice on my little table.
When I saw these cups I immediately knew I wanted to use them in a little DIY project. Well, I did, and you can find the post here.
Right now, this kitchy vase is the prude and joy of my home! I know not everybody would go and buy something that kitch, but that's exactly what I fell in love with. This vase might just be one of the very best thriftstore purchases I've ever made!
And then finally I bought these lovely pair of porcelain figurine dogs. My mum told me the story behind figurines such as these; apparently in the olden days, wives of sailors would recieve a pair of dog figurines that their husbands had brought home with them from the orient. When the sailors were out at sea, their wives back home would place the dogs in the window facing outward, so that they were looking after the seafaring husbands, and inward when the husbands were home. As a plus, this trick apparently also served as quite the communication system, if the wives had lovers visiting often ;)

Lovely Living Room
Last week I showed you a picture of my new tablecloth, which I'd ordered at the start of this month. When I got it, I immediately loved it sososo much, and I decided to order a couple of pillows to match, so that my couch area really fits together. I ordered the pillows at H&M's Home department and used a lot of the discount codes for this month, so I actually got them for cheap money. My parcel was sent last week, so yesterday I was exited for it to get here. However, I had to wait so long for it, that I in the end lost hope of getting it that day. Luckily the postman was just late, and so I got my parcel after all. And lookie look how lovely it looks now!
With my new pillows, I decided to move my home made (thanks mum!) quilted blanket and pillows over to my lounge chairs, which in it self was actually pretty fun too. I really like how I have a red thread in my home, and still it's not too matchy-matchy. All in all I'm pretty happy right now, and I thought I'd show you the end result of my mini makeover ❤

Perfect Parcel
At the start of January, I took a stroll 'round all of the lovely things ModCloth have to offer. I'm crazy about that website; they have so many lovely vintage inspired clothes, but my absolute favourite place on the site, is their Home department. I'm crazy about everything and I just want it all. That will, however, cost me a pretty penny, so for now I have to buy one-two-three things at the time.
Anyway, I ended up ordering a couple of things. And then I just waited and waited and waited for my parcel to arrive, and then yesterday, it finally did. As you can see in the pictures below, I ordered a new iPhone case, an iPhone bunny (it's actually a stand for the phone) and finally some really nice drink coasters. It wasn't that expensive, but who says it has to be? I love love love all of the things, and just thought I'd show you ❤

Flower Power Tablecloth
A couple of weeks back I browsed through Ellos' home department and came across this über super lovely tablecloth. I have a red thread (seriously, it is red) theme going on in my apartment; red lamps, red books and so on. Since I got my coffee table about a year ago, I've tried to spare it from scratches and dents, but no matter how careful you are, you can't avoid a scratch or two. So when I saw this retro tablecloth, I just knew I had to have it - and luckily it didn't cost me more than 20 bucks or so. It just arrived about an hours ago, and I'm already shopping for matching pillows!
I love how I don't have just one ear of time in my apartment. I buy what I like, but still prefer it has a retro touch - and this tablecloth certainly has.
It looks really great in my apartment, and the best thing about it is, that now my coffee table won't have to suffer any more ❤

January And Onwards
It sure has been a very long time since there's been an outfit here at the blog - actually, I think it's been months. There's a good explanation however. With the Scandinavian weather consisting of rain, snow, fog and more rain, it hasn't really been a great idea to dress up over the top. However, I found this lovely ensemble in the sales at Evans over the holiday, and as I am a sucker for the Swan by Clements Ribeiro line, I couldn't resist spending a bit. Well, it wasn't bad at all; the prices were severely reduced. I got this outfit for around 35 or 40 pounds (if you're interested, the prices has been slashed even further - check out the links below the photos) and I'm very much in love with it. It can be dressed up or down, and work great for all seasons. I got my parcel Friday, and so I thought I'd wear the clothes today.

Mama Spent Money When She Had None
Hello to you all, and thanks for still checking in. I haven't been the best blogger lately, but I almost feel kind of tapped out of creativity - blogging wise. But you can, as always, count on the Sunday Summaries.
Anyway, this month I've been a little too good using my credit card. That's never a good thing, but then again, the result of it are so many pretty things that now are mine. I thought I'd show you some of the things I've bought this month. So let's get at it, shall we?
I was real exited to get the parcel containing this awesome leather jacket. I've actually sneaked many peeks at New Look, just to fall even more in love with this jacket. When I finally decided to buy it, it were no longer on the site, but luckily they brought it back a month or so later. I immediately put it in my cart and so the first "few" ponds were spend.
Along with the jacket, I also ordered this super cute little polka dot wallet. Much like the jacket, I'd sighed over this little beauty for a while, and when I finally ordered the jacket, I threw this in to the cart as well. Luckily this wasn't expensive at all, and I really love it.
A couple of days later, I was looking at my new favourite site; ModCloth. They have suck lovely vintage inspired clothes and accessories, but they also have an amazing home department. That's where I found this keepsake board, that I simply couldn't resist. It's a bit smaller than I'd expected, but it actually looked bigger once I put some stuff on it.
Also at ModCloth, I found these super cool Scrabble fridge magnets. I've been looking for some Scrabble magnets for 10 years, and there they were - just waiting for me. And now here they are - brightening up my otherwise boring fridge.
The last thing I bought at ModCloth was this little - and might I add 'super cute' - squirrel door stand. The price actually surprised me in a good way, cause it wasn't expensive at all.
All the things from ModCloth came in a BIG box on Monday. Not only was it super unhandy to carry on my bike, but also, the parcel had been searched through customs, and I got a huge fee. So even though the things in them selves were at okay prices, the whole thing ended up costing me a whole lotta money. But now that I've gotten over the chock and the things are "up and running", I'm really happy with them and (almost) don't recent myself for my shopping so much this month :)

Oh So Lovely, Oh So Pretty
Last night, I spend a total of 2 hours hanging my new curtains. Not that the hanging of the curtains in itself took 2 hours, but I also had to put up my new curtain rods, which took a little longer than planned. But in the end it came out rather good - actually, I think it came out great! I am so in love with these curtains, and think it's one of the best purchases I've done this year. See for yourself - oh and if you're wondering; the print of the curtains are of old books on a shelf.

New In: The Perfect Rockabilly Bag
Hey alley cats - how you doing today?
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing the Romwe site, and I stumbled upon this amazing bag.
I knew right then and there that I had to have it, and so I ordered it.
Since then I've waited and waited and waited for it to come.
I came home from Sweden yesterday, and was actually expecting it
to be sittin' in my mailbox waiting for me. But it didn't.
But then today, when I was drinking a cup 'o joe,
I heard some sounds from outside of my apartment door,
and it turned out it was the postman with my parcel.
I was absolutely ecstatic when I opened the parcel and glimpsed the red leather.
This bag is completely gorgeous; it's bright red - which will match my red nails and lips perfect -,
it's not too small and not too big, and it has two large compartments for all of my carry-ons.
I'm completely in love with this bag, and I've already taken it for a spin around the old block
- and everywhere it has been catching peoples eyes.
So this is without a doubt one of the best purchases I've ever done :)
Oh yeah, just a little side note; I've played around with the blog design earlier today,
and I quite like how it came out. It kinda reminds me of Minnie Mouse and it just makes me so happy :)
Have a great night, you all everybody ♥
and jeg faldt over denne fantastiske taske.
I må have en rigtig dejlig aften alle sammen ♥

I må have en rigtig dejlig aften alle sammen ♥

✿ I Love My New Bike, Yes I Do, I love My New Bike, How About You? ✿
Hey sunflowers :)
I'm so happy, tralala! :) Today has been a fantastic day.
I woke up to the calender telling me that today is the 28th,
which means I've been sober for exactly 14 months.
But that's not the only reason I have to smile.
The sun has been beaming down on me, while I've been sitting outside
and reading up on my notes for Social Studies.
When I was done after a couple of hours, my dad called me over.
He had a surprise for me - this new bike! I'm so so so happy I could fly :)
My old bike broke a little over a year ago,
and since then I've been either walking or taking the bus everywhere I went.
But not anymore - no sir :)
Some might say "Hey, that bike is old!" but I say "Hey, that bike is lovely!" :)
So I've been helping my dad getting the bike ready, and my shirt is all covered in oil.
But I don't mind at all - shows I've been productive today, haha ;)
After the bike was ready, I took it for a spin on the small roads, and I love it I love it I love it.
What a perfect day it's been ♥
Hey solsikker :)
Men ikke længere - no sir :)
