Hello lovelies!
Wow, we're already 3 days into January, and for me these last couple of weeks have been a little hectic and stressful.
But luckily it seems things are - slowly - beginning to turn for me, and so therefore I also have some time for the blog again.
Today I wanted to show you yet another cool and very well styled Swedish apartment.
It seems they're a dime a dozen, but for every Swedish home I see, I can't help of longing to live in a stylish, white and oh-so-pretty apartment in Stockholm or Kalmar and so on. Oh, a girl can dream, right?
Have a wonderful Friday - remember that now it's finally weekend (TGIF, right?)
and there are lots of reasons to smile beg´cause of that. So go out and throw everybody a big old smile - it'll drive them crazy ♡

Christmas in Sweden anno 2013
Hello from Sweden on such a lovely December day.
Well, we drove all day yesterday, and now we're finally here.
Oh how I love this old Swedish house - and especially around the Holidays!
I had hoped for snow, but unfortunately it's a no-show.
But still, with all of the cozy Christmas decorations both in - and outside, I can't help of feeling like it really is Christmas.
Here are a few snippets of my personal paradise
- enjoy, and have the happiest of December Saturdays ♡

Something white to match the snow
Well, almost! We don't have any here in Denmark - I've just watched the news and weather forecast, and according to the weather man, we may be lucky and get some snow a couple of days before Christmas Eve. Ah well, I really am dreaming of a white Christmas; last year we had loads before we even hit December 5, and this year it's just rainy, foggy and grey. Jack Frost, where have you gone to?
Anyway, this gorgeous Swedish apartment is just what the doctor ordered. As you know, I am very fond of Swedish homes, and this one is no exception. And oh, of course a fireplace right in the corner of the living room. Oh Lord, why was I not born in Sweden? Oh well, I'll just crank up my old radiator and cozy up with a cuppa tea.
Have a lovely evening and don't forget to smile... there's always something to smile about ♡

Small Space Inspiration #2
Hello, happy weekend people!
It's Saturday - woohoo! And what a lovely day it has been. Yesterday I was out having a cuppa coffee with my mum, which was a nice way of breaking in the weekend. Today I've been happy at home, doing some of the stuff that needs to be done. So after giving the bathroom a thorough cleaning and doing a gigantic pile of laundry, I'm now kicking' back with a big cuppa tea and a movie.
Well anyway, now for today's post:
I cruise the web for interior blogs almost every day, and every time I come across a small apartment I get a smile on my face. Often blogs, magazines and TV programs on interior decoration only give you tips on how to arrange a place with lots of space. But the fact is, that most people don't have a gigantic house or a ten bedroom apartment.
I myself live in a studio apartment, and every day I thank myself for how I - over a many years - have managed to style the place so that I have room for all of my stuff, but still lots of floor to walk on... although my mum don't quite agree with that, haha.
Anyway, this beautiful Scandinavian apartment is small, and serves both as a living room and bedroom. I like the soft purple colors and the small details, and I would just kill for a kitchen like that!
Have a beautiful and happy Saturday ♡

Farm house in Sweden
Goodevening to all of you lovely people out there!
I do love old Swedish houses. As some of you might know, I often spend my vacations in our own Swedish farm house by the countryside. I can't resist an old Swedish farm house; the red - or Faluröd, as it's called in Swedish - colour of the house, the old fireplaces inside and just the feel of the place.
This Swedish farm house was built by the owner, a carpenter, who lives here with his wife and son. The house works as a place to live and a studio. I like it, but nothing compares to the one my family owns, haha.
Have a evening day and be happy ♡

A fireplace in Norway
I do love a fireplace. It doesn't matter if it's an open fireplace or an old Husqvarna, I just can't resist the special warmth that comes from fire. A short while ago I was in Sweden with my folks, and we have FOUR fireplaces up there. Well, only two of them work, but that's plenty!
I just wanted to show you another way - maybe a more minimalistic way - of curling up by the fire. This Norwegian home is the perfect setting for cold weather outside, and warmth and cosiness inside.
Have a happy day in the cold weather ♡
