A place for the family

Hi, how are you today? I'm doing just fine, and I thought that I would bring you the first "family friendly" apartment here at f&f. I'm not a parent, nor do I wish to be, but I'm sure this place in Göteborg, Sweden, doesn't look like this all of the time - with kids and all. But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy these pretty stills of a cute and family friendly flat.
Have a lovely day...

The window

Just a quick "hi" from me today.
Look at this window - is it not just the most beautiful thing ever?
I hope this brought you a smile to your lips. Keep 'em coming; be happy today, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Romantic details

Greetings from Sweden! I spend all of yesterday either at school or in a car, but at around 8 in the evening, we finally arrived at the Swedish house by the countryside. It's such a beautiful Fall day up here today, so in a minute I think I'll go outside and take loads of pictures of this beautiful day. But anyway...
... We all have our different ways of styling something. Both when it comes to our clothes, but also the way we "dress up" our homes. So today I thought I'd give you a little peak at a softer and more romantic apartment in Stockholm, Sweden. Notice how all of the little details create the feel of a comfortable place - a place, where you wouldn't mind having a cuppa tea and a scone... or is that just me?
Enjoy today and remember to smile!

Cosy and idyllic in an old Swedish farmhouse

Hello Thursday - and soon - hello Friday, and hello vacation time for me! Tomorrow I have a whole week of vacation, which I'm spending in Sweden with my parents in our old house by the country side. Every vacation we travel the five hour distance by car, only to end up in our beloved old house. It's not like this one though - the only thing that comes near to this place, is the look of the house from the outside.
Well anyway, isn't this just a place you want to run away to? For me, this is what it's all about when we're talking "dream vacation houses" - what do you think?
See you Saturday, remember to smile!

White and black in a former piano factory

Hello hello hello, how are you enjoying this fine day?
Today I'm going to show you a beautiful place with a lot of history. This loft used to be a piano factory from 1917 in Stockholm, Sweden. The ceilings are up to almost 5 meters, witch gives this space a very classy and open feel to it. I like the fact that the owners of this beautiful loft have decided to go for a minimalistic feel of the place and decorated it in black and white - just like a piano.

A Bohemian home in Norway

Hi and hello, what a lovely day it is today.
To celebrate the greatness of this great day, I thought I'd bring you something a little different today. A Bohemian haven in Norway. I love the small Moroccan details, especially the textiles in the bedroom. I think the people who've decorated this place have been very clever; the whole place gives a very stylish and clean vibe, but still the details create the feel of a home.
Have the nicest day, see you tomorrow!

The elephant in the room

Another day, another Göteborg apartment - I must admit, I sure have brought you a lot of those lately, haven't I? Well, this one is another great one. What do you think of the elephant wallpaper? I love it; it creates a very nice and comfy feel of the place.
I must run now, but have a lovely day - don't forget to smile and laugh!

Danish minimalism

It's Friday - how absolutely wonderful! I've had the best day; school and then coffee with some girlfriends. Then I bought the most amazing coat for this cold Fall weather we've been having lately. Now I'm home, I'm sitting in my favourite spot on the couch with a cuppa cappuccino and I'm looking forward to a lovely weekend. Tomorrow I'm going to meet up with my girlfriend Maria, for brunch and cigarette conversations - it's going to be the best weekend ever. But back to today:
I've been bringing you a lot of Swedish homes lately, but today it's time for a Danish one. Danes are known for minimalism and their fondness for the colour black. I'll testify for the colour black, but I've never been one for the whole "minimalism concept" - however, I can't deny that this lovely home is beautiful.
Have the best day ever, my dear Internet friends!

White and grey, but with a hint of colours in Göteborg

Thursday's almost over, which means that it's Friday tomorrow - woohoo! Do you have any plans for the weekend?
Today I'm going to show you yet another Göteborg apartment, all kept in soothing white tones. White is a great colour for wall painting. You can do anything with it; keep it simple with just a white base and furniture and such in dark tones. Or you can do as the owners of this lovely Göteborg apartment. It's kept white, which creates light, and then there's all those lovely details in a rainbow of colours. I fancy it - do you?
